Technical Setup for Best Deliverability

1 SPF Record

Add this to your domain's DNS:

v=spf1 include:_spf.salesblink.io ~all

This verifies you as a legitimate sender.

2 DKIM Record

Add a DKIM record provided in your account settings to your DNS.

This adds cryptographic signing to your emails.

3 DMARC Record

Add this DMARC policy to monitor your emails:

v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:youremail@yourdomain.com

After 30 days, change to: v=DMARC1; p=quarantine; pct=100

Sending Emails

Creating Your First Campaign

1 Import Your Leads

Supported formats:

  • CSV files (Name, Email, Company, etc.)
  • Google Sheets
  • Direct integrations with Hubspot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM

Minimum required fields: Email address

2 Create a New Sequence
  1. Click "Sequences" then "Create New"
  2. Choose between:
    • AI Personalized (Recommended) - AI writes unique emails for each lead
    • Template-Based - Use pre-designed templates
    • Custom - Build from scratch
3 Compose Your Emails

Best practices for cold emails:

  • Subject Line: Keep under 50 characters, avoid spam triggers
  • Body: 3-5 short paragraphs max
  • Personalization: Use variables like {{first_name}}, {{company}}
  • CTA: One clear call-to-action per email
Pro Tip: For best deliverability, your first email should be text-only with no images or links.
4 Add Follow-Ups

Recommended sequence structure:

  1. Initial email (Day 1)
  2. Follow-up 1 (Day 3) - "Just checking in"
  3. Follow-up 2 (Day 7) - "Last attempt"

Set delays between emails (2-7 days recommended)

5 Schedule Your Campaign

Configure these settings:

  • Start Date/Time: When to begin sending
  • Sending Hours: 9AM-5PM in recipient's timezone
  • Daily Limit: Start with 20-50 emails/day per sender
  • Random Delays: 2-10 minutes between sends

Email Deliverability Guide

Why Emails Go to Spam

Common reasons and solutions:

1 Poor Sender Reputation

Solution: Use our Email WarmUp feature for 2-4 weeks before sending campaigns.

WarmUp gradually increases sending volume to establish trust.

2 Technical Setup Missing

Solution: Ensure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are properly configured (see Sender Setup section).

3 Spammy Content

Solution: Avoid these in your emails:

  • ALL CAPS or excessive punctuation!!!
  • Spam trigger words ("Free", "Guaranteed", "Act now")
  • Too many links or images
  • Attachments in first email

Advanced Deliverability Tips

1 Use Custom Tracking Domains

Instead of our default tracking links (click.salesblink.io), set up:

track.yourdomain.com (CNAME to cname.salesblink.io)

This makes your links appear more trustworthy.

2 Rotate Email Senders

Don't send all emails from one address:

  • Use 3-5 different sender addresses
  • Set different daily limits for each
  • Monitor performance separately
3 Maintain Engagement

ISP's watch how recipients interact with your emails:

  • Aim for >20% open rate
  • Encourage replies (ask questions in your emails)
  • Remove unengaged contacts after 3-5 emails
